What type of bikes are these pedals work for?

Any standard 9/16'' threaded crank is compatible，and you can easily install it on the crank.

Are these pedals compatible with cycling shoes?

Yes. This pedal is double-sided, one side is the Toe Cage , the other is the SPD system, can be installed with the lock piece used with professional riding shoes.

Are the size of these pedals adjustable?

The depth of the toe clip isn't, but the strap is.The strap is long and has a clip to hol it,you can loosen them or tighten them like a belt.

Do you need specialized equipment to install pedals?

The pedals come with a 6mm Allen wrench, which you can use to install. But if you have a 15mm wrench, installation will be easier.
